Master Procreate Jewellery Design Course

Course Overview:

This course is designed for aspiring jewellery designers who want to master digital jewellery illustration using Procreate. Learn to create realistic renderings of diamonds, gemstones, metals, and intricate jewellery designs with industry-level techniques.

Materials Required:

• 3rd Generation iPad or later
• 2nd Generation Apple Pencil
• Good internet connection

Course Duration:

• 3 Weeks
• 90-minute sessions, Monday to Friday

Module 1: Introduction to Procreate and Basic Techniques

• Introduction to Procreate and its essential tools for jewellery design
• Understanding layers, brushes, and opacity settings
• Construction of basic shapes & shading techniques

Module 2: Rendering & Editing Techniques

• Cabochon rendering & editing
• Diamond & pearl rendering and finishing
• Gemstone construction & rendering (Choose any 3: Malachite, Cat’s Eye, Tiger Eye, Opal, Star Sapphire)
• Creating shadows, brilliance, reflections, and backgrounds for enhancement

Module 3: Metal Surfaces & Decorative Techniques

• Rendering different metal textures (Gold, Silver, Rose Gold, Platinum)
• Decorative techniques: Enamelling, Sandblasting, Tree-bark texture, Granulation
• Creating realistic diamond brushes

Module 4: Designing Jewellery Pieces

• Earrings: Designing earrings with prong & bezel settings
• Pendants: Creating pendants using pave & bead settings
• Necklaces: Diamond and gold necklace rendering
• Rings & Bangles: 3D drawing and rendering rings, bands, and bangles in perspective and isometric views
• Bracelets: Designing and rendering tennis bracelets

Module 5: Advanced Techniques & Portfolio Development

• Tips and tricks for quick designing
• Introduction to Kundan/Polki illustration and designing long earrings/pendants
• Portfolio creation with a collection of rendered designs
• Introduction to Procreate brushes: Diamond brush, Stone setting brush, and more
• Removing white backgrounds from motifs and incorporating them into jewellery designs

Final Project:

• Students will create and present a complete jewellery collection featuring at least one ring, necklace, pendant, and earrings.
